This system allows obtaining a natural circulation of air that enters from the side windows (with flaps or outward opening) and exits from the topmost opening in the ridge. Such ventilation is even more effective as the difference between the indoor and outdoor temperatures increases and when the height between the air inlets and outlets is remarkably different.
It is clear that it will be relatively easier to obtain good ventilation in winter than in summer if the slope of the shed cover is sufficient to ensure a significant difference in height between the air inlets and outlets. The design of natural ventilation sheds must carefully consider the following solutions:
• the use of easily adjustable closing systems for the windows and the ridge inlet with mechanized opening controlled by an automatic control unit;
• the construction of the roof with the correct slope.
Recent experiences have evidenced that natural ventilation provides interesting results, thanks to the scrupulous compliance with of all the measures indicated.
In particular, it has been clearly demonstrated how natural ventilation, if well-made and correctly managed, can ensure the maintenance of excellent environmental conditions inside the shed, regardless of external conditions.

In mechanical ventilation, the air exchange is obtained using specially designed fans and adequate air intakes, positioned in the most suitable areas. This fosters the possibility of precisely and automatically adjusting the air exchange flows regardless of external climatic conditions.
It is therefore possible to implement ventilation in relation to the specific needs of the animals housed in the various sections. This system fosters increased productivity of the animals thanks to the improved environmental conditions that can be obtained in the sheds.
The correct distribution of air in the environment depends on the arrangement of the vents and the intake speed; for this reason, it is important that such inlets are adjustable, so that they can be adapted to ventilation needs.
This is normally entrusted to a control unit equipped with a temperature-sensitive probe, which increases and decreases the speed of the fan depending on the desired ambient temperature and the weight of the animals present, and with the possibility of using a CO2 and RH sensor.

The Pad-Cooling system is an efficient air cooling and humidification system used in departments where highly efficient cooling is required such as the farrowing, gestation and boar sections.
The Pad-Cooling system is naturally automated and managed by the micro-climate control unit which, depending on the parameters to be achieved, regulates the operation of the system.
This type of system is also used in very hot and humid climatic zones, where cooling with nozzles (cheaper) fails to provide a sufficient result.


For piglets and weaners is recommended create areas of heated floor (to water or electrically) to create the optimal zones of comfort for the animals and at the same time minimize the energy consumption of farm.
The proposed solutions are varied and include:
Water plates made ​​of plastic COATED steel for maximum comfort;
Plates with water in POLYMER concrete with or without stainless steel sheet coating;
Plates with electrical resistance in POLYMER concrete with or without stainless steel sheet coating;
In addition to that we offer the infrared lamps to sustain the heating of piglets in the nest or covers for the nest areas.


We install radiant heating systems using finned pipes running on hot water. To create this type of heating system, aluminium pipes with a high caloric yield (about 150 Kcal / linear metre) have been designed. These pipes are protected against corrosion thanks to the anodizing process, are easy to install, and ensure a long service life. The passage of water heated to the desired temperature ensures a consistent and controlled performance. Unlike systems with unit heaters, a heating system with finned pipes guarantees greater uniformity of heat and a lower air speed inside the rooms (with consequent greater animal well-being).
We also produce floor heating system (electric or hot water) for the weaning and farrowing rooms.

As it is well known, it is possible to create diets tailored for animals, or add different ingredients at a later stage, depending on the needs. The dosing computer allows selecting the food as well as differentiating such selection throughout the day and according to the different ages. The liquid feeding system is also fully automated, requires minimal labour, and ensures the fast distribution of food in the correct quantities. The systems we offer are user-friendly, the graphs representing the feeding curves are easy to interpret, and the system can also be controlled directly from any computer. The system, consisting of the dosing computer, the kitchen and the peripherals (such as valves, distribution pipes, etc.) is designed and recommended in order to obtain the best possible result in terms of practicality and quality.


We size, supply and install different types of dry-feeding systems:
– individual dosed feeding;
– ad libitum feeding.
Feed transport and distribution systems can be of the chain or spiral type.
There are individual feeding systems with manual or automatic adjustment using the FAROTEK dosing system.
We produce computerised multiphase systems consisting of a feed mixing and weighing system combined with a chain distribution system complete with automatic valves for feed drop and feeder-emptying sensors. The multiphase system can simultaneously handle feeding curves, dosing schedules, and multiple feed types.


We install water supply systems for pigs in all sections; depending on the case, they can be completely made in stainless steel or using PVC or polyethylene wall lines; the nipple pipes are in stainless steel (single or double) and the nipples can be with or without bowl.
Depending on the requirements, we can integrate automatic dosing systems for in-line medication treatments to treat individual sections when needed.


We make electrical systems for all farm departments using materials and methods of installation suitable with the environments for which they are intended.
In an aggressive environment, with a high presence of mice and water nothing should be left to chance and therefore the electrical system is realized by implementing measures necessary for a lasting system over time.
The electrical system is also the link between them of all the plants that make up a breeding, such as heating, ventilation, lighting, feeding systems, etc. so it is essential that it be implemented properly.


In modern farms everything must be under the control of the breeder, but to do so he must have the means.
For this purpose we install centralized control systems connectable to our realizations based on FANCOM components and logics that allow a complete interconnection of the systems between them (power supply, ventilation, lights, heating, etc.) and a single management grouped and easily controlled by an operator. The centralized control system can be connected and managed remotely via a tablet or smartphone.


We supply various types of silos, both in galvanized steel and in fibreglass (monolithic or dismountable).
The silos are available in different capacities, colours, models and complete with different accessories including hoppers, augers, ladders with protective cages, etc. The silos can be loaded from above or from below through the leg with a pneumatic load.
